Mastiha (mas-tee-hah) is a resin secreted from the skinos tree, found only in Chios, Greece. It is one of the most ancient superfoods known for its healing properties, used as a health and beauty supplement, and as a culinary spice.

At only 110 cals, 4g in 2 full ounces, KLEOS Mastiha Spirit is balanced enough to be consumed neat, on the rocks with a wedge of lemon. Because it is lower in sugar, it can also be used as a base in low-abv cocktails and spritzes!

Made in Small Batches
KLEOS Mastiha Spirit is the only double distilled, small batch, low in sugar mastiha on the market. Unlike most mastihas that use cheap neutral beet spirits, simple blending, and excessive amounts of sugar, they use:
- A neutral grain spirits base (essentially a vodka to start)
- Small copper pot stills, of which 2 are dedicated for mastiha, giving a crystal clean mastiha distillate!
- Two forms of mastiha (the raw resin and mastiha essential oil)
- So much lower in sugar than other liqueurs. 2 shots are only 4g grams of sugar and 110 calories!
About the Founder
Effie Panagopoulos was born and raised in Boston, MA of Greek immigrant parents, Effie Panagopoulos is the first Greek woman in history to found a liquor brand. KLEOS was founded to share the incredible ingredient of mastiha to the world. With her mastiha spirit, Effie hopes to earn her kleos, and restore Greece’s long-lost glory on the global drinks market place!
