Mellona began back in 2006  when Michalakis Stylianou wanted to create authentic natural unprocessed products. 

Their workshop can be found in Kato Polemidia, an outskirt of Limassol Cyprus. The Limassol area is renowned for its traditional carob production. Carobs is known as “black gold of Cyprus”.

Beekeeping is also thriving in many areas of the province. 


Mellona’s innovative honey extraction ensures that the raw honey is not processed and most importantly not heated. So it retains its original nutrition value and flavour. Spread them on a morning toast or enjoy it by the spoonful straight from the jar. Either way they are incredibly delicious and full of healthy nutrients!

Also made from 100% organic carob juice, extracted from the pods of the carob tree with no added refined sugars or sweeteners.

A sweet & nutty, dark syrup with chocolatey undertones.

Carob is naturally sweet with a taste that resembles cocoa making it a good alternative to try with recipes calling for a chocolatey flavour.

Deep, rich and sweet, carob molasses is perfect to use as an alternative sweetener for baking, in drinks or as a topping. Drizzle your porridge, add to smoothies or mix with tahini & spread on toast for a healthy & energy-filling snack.
