Malted, mashed, fermented, distilled, and aged at the Aristides Distillery in Tseri, Nicosia, this whisky is a true reflection of Cyprus craftsmanship. Aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks, it boasts a deep, golden amber hue with ruby undertones. The Aristides Distilling Journey
The story of Aristides Distilling begins not in Cyprus, but in the rolling hills of the Ozark Mountains in southern Missouri. Around 2008, co-founder Aris Aristidou joined forces with Jim Blansit to establish the first craft distillery in the Ozarks since Prohibition. Their passion and dedication quickly earned recognition, landing them **three prestigious spirit awards** from the American Distilling Institute. In 2013, Aris and Jim were joined by co-founder Marianna Ktoridou Aristidou, who helped expand the distillery’s success, distributing an impressive range of whiskeys and rums across the state.
In 2016, Aris and Marianna returned to Cyprus, ready to bring their expertise home and embark on an exciting new chapter. After two years of meticulous research, planning, and overcoming challenges, Aristides Distilling came to life in early 2019, officially beginning operations on January 1, 2020.
