Since 1975 Elasion – a family business has been dealing with their passion, olive oil. Grandfather Malliotakis Manolis started trading by buying olive oil from the producers of the province of Ierapetra. The storage and distribution was done in barrels by the Malliotaki and the farmers. From 1980 onwards the transactions expanded in the wider area of Lasithi. In 2000 the business is transferred to Maria Malliotaki, the eldest daughter of the family and she has lead the compnay to where it is today.
