Inspired by the classic Japanese knot bag, distinguished by its asymmetrical handles that slip through each other to shape a knot handle, they have created this timeless piece in a minimal form and with rich texture.
Crocheted by hand with great attention to detail, this Raffia Knot Bag takes approximately 12 hours to be made and comes with a Plexida 100% cotton dust bag.

Founded in 2012 by Alexandra Kouziaki, a third-generation knitter, Plexida is a slow fashion brand of knitwear, ethically and sustainably handcrafted in Greece.
The craft of knitting was passed down from woman to woman in Alexandra’s family; from her great-grandmother, a silk-worm farmer, to her mother, a professional knitter, the rich history of the family craft guided her to a creative outlet-turned-business.
They combine traditional centuries-old techniques with timeless and minimal designs to create premium quality, long-lasting, and essential pieces that will be enjoyed for many years.
Plexida is a woman-led and all-women employee business, and by nurturing their local artisans’ skills, they take pride in our inclusive and empowering work environment.
